Home remedies for a Clear and Glowing Skin
Everyone wishes to have a glowing and flawless skin. Especially women, who never want to look aged. Clear and beautiful skin is the main element which every person dream about. In today’s busy life, people do not get enough time to care about their skin. Some of the factors are stress, lack of sleep, poor nutrition, unhealthy lifestyle, pollution, smoking and drinking alcohol. Here you can try some simple home remedies to improve your skin.
1) LEMON – Lemon is one of the best ingredient for your skin. Lemon is rich in Vitamin C and , therefore, the citric acid helps in reducing dark spots and blemishes and removing dead cells by increasing the cell renewal process.
• Take a fresh lemon and squeeze the lemon. Apply the lemon juice to your face and neck area. Leave it on for 10 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water.
• You can also add sugar to lemon juice. Apply the mixture on face and neck and scrub in a circular motion for 2-3 minutes and leave it on for 10 minutes. Then wash it off with lukewarm water. You will find the result in a week if done daily or on alternative basis.
2) CUCUMBER – Cucumbers are rich in Vitamin B. It contains the two basic elements needed for a healthy skin and digestion – water and fiber. They can improve the damaged skin cells as they have got astringent properties good for skin.
• Grate the cucumber and apply it on your face and leave it on for 10 minutes. Put two slices of cucumber on your eyes. Then rinse it off with lukewarm water. Do this daily or alternate day for a glowing skin.
3) HONEY – Honey is naturally anti-bacterial, so it is useful in acne treatment. It also helps as an anti-ageing source.
• Apply the raw honey on your face and neck. Leave it on till it dries and rinse it off with lukewarm water. It tightens and brightens the skin making it soft. Use this remedy daily or the other day for best results.
4) PAPAYA – Papaya is rich in Vitamin A. It works as an anti-oxidant and helps in eliminating dead skin cells. It cleanses your skin and make it glowing.
• Mash a piece of papaya and mix it with a tablespoon of honey and make it like a mask. Apply the mixture on your face for 15 minutes. Then wash it off with cold water. Do this remedy three times a week and you will see the results.
5) MILK – Milk plays an important role in the overall nutrition and health. But, it is also an important source for a soft and beautiful skin. It helps in hydrating dry skin and softens the skin.
• Take 2 tablespoons of milk and add a few lemon drops. Apply it on your face and leave it on for 15 minutes. Wash it off with normal water.
• You can also add some oats in 2 tablespoons of milk and mix it like a paste. Apply the mask on your face. Rinse it off with lukewarm water after leaving it on for 15 minutes.
