1) Honey

It acts as a moisturizing agent. It has antibacterial properties that can help reduce age spots and scars.

Use: You can apply honey on your face and let it leave for 10-15 minutes. After that you can rinse it off with lukewarm water. It removes the dead skin cells and help brighten your skin.

2) Tomato

Tomatoes act as a natural tan remover due to its citric properties. It clears the skin and open the pores.

Use: Simply rub a raw tomato on your skin or face and let the juice remain for 15 minutes. Then wash it off and you will notice a clear and bright skin.



3) Green tea

It has anti-inflammatory properties that help prevent the collagen destruction that leads to wrinkles and skin damage by the sun.

Use: Consuming a cup of green tea daily gives you a healthy skin. And you can also apply the green tea bags on the dark areas of the skin. Leave it for sometime and wash it off.

4) Yogurt

It has many great nutrients that are good for skin. It also contains lactic acid that has bleaching properties.

Use: You can apply plain yogurt or you can make a paste of yogurt and oatmeal. Apply the paste for 15 minutes and rinse it off to get a moisturized and soft skin.

5) Lemon

Lemons help in improving the skin quality very well as they contain citric acid and Vitamin C.

Use: You can mix the ingredients- lemons, rose water and a pinch of Turmeric and apply this on your face and neck. Leave it for ten minutes and wash it off with cold water. You will notice a refreshing and glowing skin.
