Bollywood Celebs and Others Came in Support of Tanushree Dutta
Tanushree lives in United states but this time her visit in India she made shocking revelations. She claimed that she was sexually assaulted by actor Nana Patekar during the shoot of their movie HORN OK Please , where she was not only pushed by him but also intimidated by Nana on the sets. She filed a complaint at the National Commission for Women (NCW) seeking investigation into the allegations of sexual harassment against Nana Patekar and director Vivek Agnihotri as well. Many celebrities decided not to comment on the whole situation but many people and celebrities came in support of Tanushree Dutta.
I feel we should also start something called 'Me Too India' in which any woman who has been harassed at any point should write to us&we should investigate. For the first time NCW is going into every case complained to us&we go in detail: Union Min Maneka Gandhi #TanushreeDutta pic.twitter.com/iCcleMc4ew

I don’t know what happened exactly. But I think there shouldn't be any kind of violence or pressure on any person, whether male or female, at workplace. I feel pained that she has been through so much of trauma: Shilpa Shetty on Tanushree Dutta's allegations against Nana Patekar pic.twitter.com/rLtt4BYAB2

I agree too. Survivors are survivors because they have dealt with something and come out on the other side. So believe them, respect them. @janiceseq85 #TanushreeDutta https://t.co/L6bxaG5HPk

Some incidents that take place even a decade ago remain fresh in your memory. What happened with #TanushreeDutta on the sets of “Horn Ok Please” is one such incident – I was there. #NanaPatekar

I believe #TanushreeDatta and @janiceseq85 recollection of the account. Janice is my friend, and she is anything but an exaggerator or a liar. And it’s upto us to stand together. https://t.co/sF3mS5o1P8

It hurts to be #TanushreeDutta rn. To be alone, questioned. No woman wants publicity that opens the floodgates of trolling and insensitivity. What happened to her on set was intimidation. Her only fault was she didn’t back down-takes a special courage to be #TanushreeDutta.

Please read this thread. We all know the reality of the power imbalance that exists in the workplace. Let us encourage these voices instead of shaming them so that others may have the strength to come forward. https://t.co/5NefCpWpCs

For men, a big part of the #MeToo movement is listening to women tell their story. Supporting them with belief. #TanushreeDutta is telling hers. Be a good man, shut your mouth, and listen to it. There are many many more like it in our industry. And they deserve to be heard.

When our industry fails to stand for and protect its own. They get their chance and lose it.Makes our films on women empowerment hollow. The deafening silence on #TanushreeDutta case is sickening. remember the controversy breaking out .( part 1)

People were trolling #TanushreeDutta, I think they should be ashamed of themselves because she has all the rights to complain. There is no time limit to complain if something wrong has happened. Both parties should be given a chance to clarify themselves: Ayushmann Khurrana pic.twitter.com/P2pvamNI4Z
