He doesn’t belong to a very high class family before entering Bollywood, whatever he has achieved today he worked really hard for that and never give up. 1. He was born in a very small town of Muzaffarnagar, Budhana , its in Uttar Pradesh. His father was a farmer at that time and he has 9 siblings which includes 7 brothers and 2 sisters.

2. He got married at a very young age to Anjali Siddiqui from his native village and has two children with her.

3. He graduated from science stream and after completion worked as a Chemist in Petrochemicals for around 4-5 years.

4. He wanted to become an actor since childhood only. In his childhood he used to stand in front of the mirror and enact scenes from movies.

5. After getting bored with job , he shifted to Delhi to pursue his acting career but has no money in pocket. He did a job of watchman and joined theater school in Delhi.

6. He struggled for almost 12 years before Gangs of Wasseypur where he got his acting recognition and was a career boost for him. He did very small roles in movies like Sarfarosh , Shool , Munna Bhai MBBS , Dev D , New York and Black Friday.

7. He doesn’t give much attention to his looks, in an interview he said that he has 2-3 suits which he wears repeatedly.
