Deepika Padukone’s First Look as an Acid Attack Survivor from Chhapaak is Out

Deepika Padukone , one of the most talented actress is working really hard to project herself as Malti for movie Chhapaak – story of an acid attack Survivor. Thr movie will be directed by Meghna Gulzar and Deepika Padukone is debuting as a producer. This movie also features Vikrant Massey opposite Deepika.

The biopic is based on a real story of Laxmi Agrawal who was attacked in 2005, at the age of 15 by a 32 year old man when she rejected to marry him. Laxmi is the founder of an NGO called Chhanv dedicated to help the acid attack survivors in India. Deepika Padukone took social media to unveil her first look from the movie and said “A character that will always stay with me forever”.
The movie will hit the threatres in January ,2020.
