All you Need to Know about First Women Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman

On 23rd May , 2019 Lok Sabha elections results came out and BJP party has won with majority of votes and once again Mr Narendra Modi has become the Prime Minister of India with majority of public votes. Nirmala Sitharaman has been appointed as the new finance minister in PM Narendra Modi’s cabinet. She is a graduate , post graduate and M.Phil in Economics subject and has also served as the Commerce and Defence minister earlier.

60 yr old Sitharaman, is a Rajya Sabha member and became the second woman to handle ministry after former PM Indira Gandhi. It was quite shocking for everyone when PM Modi announced Nirmala Sitharaman name as the new Finance minister.
