10 Things to do When you are in a Bad Mood

Remember that moment when everything that anyone does annoys the living daylights out of you and you just feel like pulling their hair out of the roots just because you’re in a such a bad mood?!
Hola, wait, hold your horses! Here, read some tips for the things you should do when you’re in a bad mood to get your emotional equilibrium back :-

1) Get up and do something productive.

It could be as simple as arranging your drawer or watering the plants. Channel that negative energy to get some work done.

2) Take responsibility.

Don’t sit around and brood. Seek a way out of your problem.

3) Make yourself laugh.

4) Exercise or go for a walk.

The release of endorphins into your blood stream uplifts your spirits really effectively.

5) Accept the situation and your emotions.

Sometimes, the reason behind your bad mood is denial. Deal with the situation, pushing it down is not going to help.

6) Do something creative or engage in your hobbies.

It could be reading novels, playing video games, painting, gardening, etc.

7) Find music that works for you, press play and maybe dance along a little.

It has a soothing effect on your brain.



8) Eat something you relish.

Like ice-cream or chocolates (but yes, only upto a calorie limit!)

9) Call or video chat a friend and vent out all your frustration.

And see how it’ll make your heart feel crazily light.

10) Get alone, drink water, breathe and clear your head.

It’s cliché but this really helps. It’s just simplified meditation, which has been shown to have tons of mental benefits.

Know this bad mood isn’t gonna last forever but the consequences will, if you take a drastic step in the fit of rage. Everyday may not be good but there’s something good in everyday. You got to calm yourself down and find the silver lining.
