Here’s Why Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor Have Postponed Their Wedding

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have been vocal about their relationship in public. The two were expected to get married in 2020 but things got delayed due to the demise of Ranbir Kapoor’s father Rishi Kapoor. According to latest sources, the couple have postponed their wedding for a year now and will tie the knot by the end of year 2022.

A source close to the actors said in an interview to Bollywood Life, revealed that both Alia and Ranbir have “choc-a-bloc shoot schedules” for their respective films. As far as the marriage is concerned, it’s been learned that the two are planning for a destination wedding, outside India. Therefore, the arrangements and prepping will take some time. The couple will also carve out time from their tight schedule for vacation before and after the wedding.Another reason to delay the marriage is that both Alia and Ranbir want their long awaited movie together “Brahmastra” to get released first before the wedding. It looks like their fans have to wait for another year to see them getting married.
