There will be ups and downs in your married life, there will be happy and bad moments also but how you stand by your partner is very important. When hard times come don’t think it is the end because it’s normal in every marriage.
Cooking the Basics
Cooking is a skill you should be aware of at least to an extent. You cannot totally be dependent on maids or cooks for cooking and you cannot eat outside food forever.
Money matters
Life is not a fairy tale where you can survive only with love; you need money to give yourself and your children a good life where you can get all the basic necessities. Money is not everything in marriage but yes to some extent it matters.
You will gain weight
It is common for married couples to gain weight after marriage. The reason can be hormonal changes, change of eating habits , you tend to eat a lot outside food , frequent dinners with families. Not only women, men gain weight too after marriage.
Expectations doesn’t fulfill always
Having expectations from your partner is good but don’t rely completely on that. Accept the fact that sometimes your expectations will not be fulfilled and you have to deal with it.
You will be Judged
No matter what you say or what you do , there will be some people in your family who will judge you. You cannot control your actions or words all the time. You can be a little careful in the beginning , but in the end you can’t please everyone.
No Escape from Adjustment
In marriages couples have to adjust, and compromise with each other in a lot of things. Once you will be married you will get to know how hard it is without any adjustment. You can’t be adamant or get away without making any adjustments and compromises.
