BSNL to Introduce eSIM Services by March 2025

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is gearing up to launch eSIM services by March 2025, marking a significant step in its digital transformation journey. The state-owned telecom company also aims to complete its nationwide 4G rollout by mid-2025, enhancing connectivity for millions of users.

eSIM technology eliminates the need for physical SIM cards, allowing users to activate mobile services remotely. This feature is particularly beneficial for travelers, IoT devices, and users of high-end smartphones. BSNL’s move to adopt eSIM services demonstrates its commitment to staying competitive in the rapidly evolving telecom landscape.

The nationwide 4G rollout is equally critical as it will bring high-speed internet to rural and underserved areas, bridging the digital divide. This expansion aligns with the government’s vision of a digitally empowered India and could pave the way for BSNL’s future 5G ambitions.

BSNL’s initiatives signify a significant leap forward, promising better services and greater accessibility for its customers.
