Soothing Homemade Drinks for Summers
Summers are finally here and it’s the time that your body needs some cool hydrated drinks. In summers its not only important to have healthy drinks to beat the summers, so instead of gulping aerated drinks from market, you should definitely try some homemade refreshing drinks.
LEMONADE
What’s best than the home made lemonade (Shikanji). How to make it : You need to take one glass of water, half lemon, one spoon sugar, mint leaves and black salt. Now squeeze lemon in water , put sugar and black salt, mix it well and serve yourself a hydrated drink at home.
AAM PANNA
Aam panna prevents you from heat strokes. How to make it : To prepare aam panna at home, take raw mangoes and put in cooker and wait for 3-4 whistles. Remove the peel of mango and mix salt and sugar in it and stir well. Put it in refrigerator for some time and then pour yourself a glass of aam panna.
BUTTER MILK
Butter milk is so easy to make at home, it is not only delicious but healthy too. How to make it : To make butter milk at home, you need to take one cup yogurt , mix it with water and blend it until it becomes smooth . You can add salt or sugar in the end as per your requirement and serve yourself chaas after breakfast or lunch.
SLUSH
How to make it : Take one glass of cold water, ice and favorite flavor of squash like orange , strawberry , apple or pineapple and blend it well till it becomes smooth and get yourself a cold slush drink at home.
COLD COFFEE
Cold coffee prevents you from heart burn. How to make it : Mix Coffee powder , cocoa, thick milk , sugar together and blend it till it becomes thick and serve cold coffee with a scoop of vanilla or chocolate ice cream.
OREO SHAKES
You can now have yummy Oreo chocolate cookies shake at home. How to make it : Mix coffee powder , cocoa , milk , oreo cookies , chocolate chips , one scoop of vanilla ice cream together and blend it well.
PINEAPPLE JUICE
How to make it : Chop the pineapple into small pieces, and add water and sugar ( if needed) and blend it together till it becomes smooth. Now pour the juice in glass with ice cubes on it.

How to make it : First boil 2 cups of water and put 1 spoon tea in it. Then wait for tea water to cool and add sugar or lemon for taste and your homemade ice tea is ready to drink.
THANDAI
Homemade thandai is a very healthy drink during summers as improves your digestion. How to make it : You require chopped almonds and cashew , saffron , cinnamon , sugar and blend it in mixture. First boil milk in a frypan till it becomes thick and smooth and let it cool for sometime. Then add mixture in the milk and your Thandai is ready.
