How to Maintain Weight and Relax your Body While doing a Sitting Job

We spend half of our daily time in office or traveling from office to home. The stressful and busy life schedule is making us to compromise with our health and end up gaining weight. You need to take care of our body even if you are doing a sitting job. Here are some simple ways which helps you in relaxing your body:

Take the Stairs

Avoid lifts or escalators while running for office and try to use more stairs. It will help you in maintaining your body weight and boost up your metabolism too. It burns more calories and improves your muscle mass.

Take those extra Long breaks

Do not sit on a computer or laptop for too long. Always take those long breaks to relax your body , you can walk up to your colleague for a discussion or walk upto restrooms. It will not only relax your body but will enhance your mood also .



Go for walk after Lunch

One big mistake we all do is to immediately sit after eating lunch. Do at least 10-15 minutes walk after lunch to digest your food , it will help you in digesting your food and maintaining your weight.

Drink more Water

Now that is one thing we all can do while doing a sitting job. A good water intake at least 3-4 litres a day keeps our body hydrated, It flushes our all the toxins from our body and helps you in maintaining your body weight

Avoid Junk food

Our stressful and busy work schedule makes us skip important meals and later crave for unhealthy and junk foods. Obviously in office you will end up eating food that are available in shorter time, so always take out time to take short healthy meals after every 2 hours and always go for homemade food or healthy snacks rather than for junk food or snacks.



Correct your Body posture

When you are sitting in office on your chair it is necessary to check your body posture. The way you sit is important, as it can cause you back pain as well. So, in order to relax your body at work, make sure that you sit with your back straight and feet together.

Perform Simple Exercises in Office

When you are sitting in office , you can do a little exercises like Stand up and sit down , bend down to touch your feet , stretch your arms a little , rotate your neck, etc. These simple office exercises will help you in maintaining your body weight and will give you energy booster.
