Best Time to Eat Fruits ?

All fruits whether they are seasonal or not contain nutritional value and minerals and vitamins too in order to keep your body hydrated and energized. There are so many myths about which fruit is the best to eat or best time to eat fruits? Well, according to many health experts the best time to eat fruits is either in the morning or in the afternoon. The reason you should eat fruits in the morning after getting up as fruits contains fiber that are good for the digestive system.

Another best time to eat fruits is the afternoon time (12-1 pm) as there will be a perfect time difference between your meal and fruits. The worst time to eat fruits is immediately after a meal, as when you eat it after a meal as you will be losing out on its nutritional value and health benefits. When you eat fruits after a meal , it will not be digested properly as well . There should be a gap of minimum 30 minutes or 1 hour between fruits and your meal.



If you are suffering from diabetes or looking for weight loss, it’s better to avoid eating fruits at night or evening as fruits contain natural sugar which will not help you to lose weight. You can even eat fruits in evening time but it should be before 7 pm. Fruits should always be taken on an empty stomach to avoid acidity and bloating problems. The fact is you can take fruits at any time in a day but it’s better to avoid at night or after meals.
