Television Actors Who have Committed Suicide

Asif Basra

Actor Asif Basra , aged 53 years , was found dead at a guest house in Dharamshala , Himachal Pradesh in November 2020. It has been alleged that the actor died by hanging himself and its a case of suicide.

Sameer Sharma

Television actor Sameer Sharma was found hanging from his kitchen ceiling at his residence.It has alleged that the actor have committed suicide but the reason for his suicide is still unknown. The actor has done many shows including Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Du, Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Jyoti and many more.

Sushant Singh Rajput

The actor was found hanging at his residence on June 14, 2020. His death came as a shock for everyone as no one ever thought that he would take such a big step. The reason for his death is still unknown as the case is still investigating.The actor has worked in TV shows as well as many bollywood movies like MS Dhoni, Kai Po che, Raabta and Chichhore.

Kushal Punjabi

Television star Kushal Punjabi who has worked in many serials like Ishq mein Marjawan, Kasam se has committed suicide at his home in December 2019 .The reason for his suicide is still unknown but Punjabi left a suicide note containing his will, which dedicates half of his property to his three-year-old son, Kian and the other half to be split between his sister and parents.

Preksha Mehta

Actress Preksha Mehta who has done shows like Crime Patrol, Laal Ishq and Meri Durga, was found hanging at her residence in Indore in May 2020.

Pratyusha Banerjee

Pratyusha Banerjee who got fame from the show Balika Vadhu was found dead hanging herself at her residence in Mumbai in April 2016. Allegedly she was unhappy in her relationship with boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh. Her parents also filed a case against Rahul for the abetment of suicide.

Sejal Sharma

Sejal Sharma committed suicide on 24th January 2020 , her body was seen hanging on the ceiling fan at her residence. The actress was last seen in serial “Dil To Happy Hai Ji” as Simmy Khosla. The actual reason to her death is not known but we wrote a letter before committing suicide that nobody should be blamed for her suicide and she is doing it because of her personal problems..

Manmeet Grewal

Tv actor Manmeet Grewal who was last seen in Sab Tv show Aadat se Majboor committed suicide by hanging himself in his house. He was struggling from depression from quite a long time because he was not getting enough roles in the industry and was also facing financial crisis.
