3 Different Types of Vegetable Sandwich Recipe

Vegetable sandwich filled with vegetables like onion, tomatoes, olives , corn, capsicum with brown or multigrain bread is always a healthy breakfast option. Sandwiches can be low in calories and filling so that you don’t feel hungry for hours. Here are 3 different types of sandwich recipes that you can try at home :

Grilled Cheese Vegetable Sandwich

Ingredients :

4 Bread slices
Grated Cheese
Butter
1 spoon Mayonnaise
Vegetables – Onion , Cabbage , Carrot, Capsicum , Corn

Preparation Time- 15 Minutes

Recipe :

1. Cut the onions, cabbage and capsicum in small pieces and grate the carrot .Sprinkle a little pinch of salt , add some oregano and chilli flakes too in the vegetables and mix it well.

2. Add corn and 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise in the vegetables and mix it well.

3. Take two slices of bread, add butter on one side of the bread and grated cheese on the other side. Now, fill the bread with vegetable spread.

4. Add a little butter on the top of the bread and put the filled bread in a preheated sandwich maker.

5. Now wait for the sandwich to turn brown or golden and serve it with green or red chutney.



Curd Vegetable Sandwich

4 Bread slices
Hung Curd
Butter
1 spoon Mayonnaise
Vegetables – Onion , Carrot, Bell peppers , Corn

Preparation Time- 15 Minutes

Recipe :

First Step is to make hung curd. Hang curd in a muslin cloth tightly and hang it for around minimum 3-4 hours. After that you need to squeeze it tightly to make the thick batter of hung curd.
Cut the onion, bell peppers in small pieces and grate the carrot .Sprinkle a little pinch of salt , add some oregano and pepper in the vegetables and mix it well.
Take bread slices and fill it with the curd vegetable mixture in a preheated sandwich maker.
Wait for the sandwich to turn little brown and cut the sandwich in two pieces. Serve it with Red sauce or chutney.



Cottage Cheese Sandwich

Ingredients :

Bread slices
50 gm Grated Cottage Cheese (Paneer)
Butter
1 spoon Ginger Garlic Paste
Slices of Tomato and Cucumber

Preparation Time- 15 Minutes

Recipe :

Grate the paneer and mix ginger and garlic paste well. Add little salt and pepper to taste.
Take bread slices and apply butter on both the sides. Spread paneer mix on buttered slices .
Add Tomato and Cucumber slices on the paneer mix . Put Bread slices on a preheated sandwich maker or on heated Tawa.
Wait for the sandwich to turn brown and cut the sandwich in two half.
